2023/2024 Registration and Fees

BVRA Registration will be opening on Wednesday, July 5th, at 9:00am. Registration will close on August 18th. “A” Tryout registration will close on August 4th at midnight. NO LATE REGISTRATION ALLOWED FOR “A” TRYOUTS.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION/COST:
Below is the initial registration cost for the season, which covers Ringette Manitoba fees, WRL fees, regular season games, refs, and minor officials. The fees do not cover team costs (for additional practice ice, tournaments, dryland, etc.)

NOTE: This Season any new players receive 50% discount to registration fees only
COMMUNITY CLUB FEE: will be added at registration total: Charge is based on address-community club that you belong to. The community clubs set these fees:

TRYOUT FEE:
A $120.00 tryout fee applies if you intend to try out for U12 A, U14 A, U16 A, U19 A. You need to register for tryouts separately. Centralized "A" Tryouts will be taking place this season at U12, U14, U16 & U19. Please note any age advancement requests must follow BVRA policy available on our website. We ask that only players willing to play at "A" level attend tryouts, as pulling out after tryouts has downstream implications on team formation.
“A” Tryout registration will close on August 4th at midnight. There will be NO LATE REGISTRATION ALLOWED FOR "A" TRYOUTS. Tryouts at A level are for U12, U14, U16 & U19. NO Refunds for "A" Tryouts.
R4U INFORMATION:
The R4U program is for players born 2015 and under, and it is run by Ringette Manitoba (RM). Players looking to age advance from R4U to U10 - must notify/register with Ringette Manitoba. For more information about Age Advancement assessments or the R4U program, please contact Jennifer Daman at r4u@bvraringette.ca
OPEN INFORMATION:
Open information will be sent out directly to Open contacts from last season. Any new Open teams wanting to join BVRA this season, please contact: president@bvraringette.ca
AA PROGRAM:
AA Tryouts were held in the spring. Registration for AA for season will open on July 5th.
JERSEY INFORMATION/FEE:
New players at U10 or other ages are required to purchase a home and away jersey. The total cost is $120.00 ($60.00 per jersey) and can be used in subsequent seasons. Jersey fitting sessions will be held in August, please stay tuned for additional details. Jersey numbers are being assigned based on regular registration (U10-U19) and will be the same for their BVRA career.
LATE FEES:
Late fees apply after August 18th for U10-U19. A charge of $50 will be added. Late registrants will only be excepted if there is space to accommodate.
REFUND FEES:
No Refunds will be given after teams/pods/squads formed this season. Registrations will be accepted until January 15th of the following year (i.e., the year following registration year), in accordance with Ringette Manitoba’s roster addition deadline, as long as there is space available. There will be no registration refunds given after A teams are formed. Anyone registering after teams have already been formed will not be eligible to be placed on an A team, except in extenuating circumstances that BVRA will evaluate at its own discretion.
FINANCIAL AID:
If you are requiring subsidy for registration, please be sure to CHOOSE THE SUBSIDY REGISTRATION OPTION, Subsidies are provided by KidSport Manitoba and Jumpstart program. For more information go to www.kidsportcanada.ca or www.jumpstart.canadiantire.ca
Subsidy will only cover part of registration. It does not cover Community Club Fees, Jersey fee or team fees. If applying for subsidy at registration you will need to pay for Community Club fee. For more information about subsidy contact: BVRA Registrar at registrar@bvraringette.ca

BVRA Coaching applications for the 2023-2024 Season will open July 5th and close August 18th. If you have interest in coaching in any aspect, please apply.
